Remember the sweet Kailey I got off ebay a couple weeks ago? The one that reminded me of the poor surfer girl attacked by the shark in Hawaii? Yes, she was missing an arm, so she went to AG Hospital.
DH dropped her off at AGPNY with a note on her admission form and another one tied to her tummy with TWO ribbons!!!
Both notes said: please, make sure you match the skin tone (not good to have different colors if you spend your life in a bikini)
AND!!!! it asked them to NOT replace the neck strings with plastic tie. Underlined and highlighted!!!!
Well... today I get back from work after a day in hell. I needed something to pick me up... and there it was... the box with my Kailey!!! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
Sorry... I should say [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]
As soon as I took her out of the box I saw that something was not right: her head was crooked and when I tried to turn it, it would not budge... turned her back, only to find the (already expected) plastic ties!!!!
I called AG right away and a dumbo picked up the phone! He did not want to transfer me to CS without "trying to help me"... he even put me on hold to check with a supervisor to see if he could transfer me!!!
But the funny thing is that he did not even know how to transfer the phone line!!! (so, you are still there...??? How do I do this???)
At that point I was a bit on the [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img] side!!!
Good thing that the lady in CS was very nice: she confirmed that my request was noted in my account (??!!) and is sending a UPS label with a special note on it.
But at any rate, now Kailey is going to be gone for who knows how long again! The closer you get to the holidays, the longer it takes...

Ana, I'm sorry to hear about Kailey. Usually they're pretty good about requests and the fact that you highlighted the note should have been enough.
Perhaps they can ship her back to you quickly instead of the usual time since they made a mistake. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Wait so the doll's heads aren't put on with the strings anymore? Or is that something they only do at the hospital?

Ana- The same thing happened to me!She came back with a neck tie. I did send her back and get the neck string. Hope you get her back soon.

What a nuisance. Poor Kailey has to go back into hospital. Hope she won't have a trauma.
I decided I am taking her out of the box and getting her properly dressed till the time when she has to go back (I am waiting for the UPS label to ship her)
I can not look at the box on my kitchen table...
Out she comes!
